Monitoring and maintenance of connected station infrastructure equipment such as lighting and escalators.

SNCF Gares & Connexions has called on Kuzzle IoT, an Open Source IoT platform, to support its project to remotely monitor and control equipment at the Aix-en-Provence TGV station.

Using remote sensors, the Kuzzle IoT open-source IoT platform ensures information feedback and alerts technical teams in real time, so they can intervene as quickly as possible as soon as a malfunction is identified.

The SNCF optimizes its energy expenditure and warns of hardware failures to trigger preventive maintenance actions and thus guarantee passenger comfort.
