Real-time geolocation of construction site materials in the construction zone via a reporting service portal to secure construction sites.

UBY, incubated by Bouygues Construction, allows construction teams to have IoT data, accessible in real time from the platform and the application thanks to sensors installed on construction equipment.

With more than twenty technologies already integrated into the Open Source IoT platform Kuzzle IoT, UBY makes construction site resources “talk” and adapts to all types of situations (multiple sites, indoor, outdoor, etc.):
Rolling stock: optimization of dispatching and investments (Real-time location and measurement of the utilization rate to optimize its fleet).
Tracking of machines and people in a tunnel (Guarantee worker safety and improve production methods).

Data from connected equipment can improve production processes, site management and, more broadly, management control.

A project developed through the creation of digital twins of equipment and the implementation of an Asset Tracking solution.

Anonymized key data and connectivity

UBY and Kuzzle IoT allow Bouygues Construction teams to have anonymized key data on their construction site equipment from an application using connected chips. These chips communicate wirelessly in 2.4 GHz with a network of removable beacons installed on the equipment in order to optimize the equipment fleet and its usage rate. This data is sent back via 50,000 connected sensors, installed on the equipment and the teams’ helmets in order to geolocate the equipment in real time and facilitate its management by creating virtual copies of the equipment. The data is accessible in real time from the platform and the application via business dashboards, which transform the data collected into useful data.
